Prayers for Everyday

by Rev. Carlee Hallman

FALL BEGINS

As I walk to the garden, Lord,
a few leaves are scuttle along the ground.
The garden is still producing zinnias and marigolds.
Calendulas and strawflowers are doing well.
Red, yellow, and orange chrysanthemums
are beginning to bloom.
Our tomatoes are ripening.
Other gardeners harvest
squash, peppers, and pumpkins.
What a wonderful season
we have had, Lord.
Thank you, thank you for your continuing care.
Amen.

Psalm 145:10

All your works shall give thanks to you, O Lord,
and all your faithful shall bless you.
