After several days of rain, Lord,
we would be glad to see the sun.
It would lighten the mood.
I am glad to have an umbrella
and a raincoat. And it isn’t cold.
But when the sun comes out,
things perk up: the flowers,
the birds, and the people.
I give you thanks for rain,
but I look forward to sunshine.

Ecclesiastes 11:7:
Light is sweet, and it is pleasant for the eyes to see the sun.

Acts 14:16-17:
“In past generations he allowed all the nations to follow their own ways; yet he has not left himself without a witness in doing good—giving you rains from heaven and fruitful seasons, and filling you with food and your hearts with joy.”

Hymn: How Great Thou Art

Notice: No prayers here for several days. I will be on vacation.
