SNOW LESSON

It snowed the other night,
not much, but enough
to make the roofs white.
Thank you, Lord,
for this amazing scene changer.
It’s beautiful
until it sits on the ground.
Then spatters and soot
take their toll.
It’s like sin in our lives,
isn’t it, Lord?
We think it’s someone else’s fault,
not our own.
Thank you, Lord,
for cleaning us up.  Amen.

Psalm 51:7
Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus.
